Miss Alina Marie Wilson and Mr. Chad Ryan Rogers were united in marriage on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at three o’clock in the afternoon at St. Anne Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by Father Leon Streider. The bride’s aunt, Ileana Quirch was the vocalist. Dr. Jorge Quirch DDS, the bride’s uncle, Roger Clark, the groom’s uncle, Papar Faircloth, and Rhea Walker-Smith, the couple’s friends read Scripture Readings. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Houston Omni Hotel with music provided by DJ’s Unlimited. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at CafÈ Adobe.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Robert Wilson of Missouri City, Texas and the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jorge Quirch of Sugar Land, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Michael McMahan of Katy, Texas, the grandson of Mr. And Mrs. Jack McMahan of Houston, Texas and the late Mr. And Mrs. Robert Clark of Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant ivory strapless gown with a cathedral length train. To complement her gown, the bride chose an ivory fingertip veil embellished with pearls. The bride carried a hand tied bouquet of red roses.

Ms. Eileen Wilson, sister of the bride and Ms. Rhea Walker-Smith, friend of the bride served as Maids of honor. Bridesmaids included Ms. Kathy Hadley, bride’s college friend, Monika Brown, bride’s friend, Ms. Kristy Rogers, groom’s sister, and Erica Sedeno, bride’s cousin. Junior bridesmaids were Lauren Quirch, Megan Quirch, and Linette Sanchez, cousins of the bride. Miss Audrey McMahan, cousin of the groom and Miss Victoria McKean, family friend of the bride, served as flower girls.

Mr. Nathan Shipley, groom’s high school friend served as Best Man. Groomsmen included Mr. Samir Mojadeddi, groom’s high school friend, Jason Faircloth, groom’s college friend, Christopher Wilson, bride’s bother, and Christopher Allen, groom’s college friend. Mr. Douglas Ortiz and Mr. Adam Hall served as ushers. Andrew McMahan, cousin of the groom served as ring bearer.

Alina graduated in 2000 from Clements High School in Sugar Land, and graduated from The University of Houston in 2004, where she received a BA in Communications. She will be starting UT Dental in Fall 2008 to pursue and BS degree in Dental Hygiene. Chad graduated from Katy High School in Katy, Texas and UHD Police Academy and is employed by the City of Pearland.
