Mission Statement
To prevent the tragedy of abortion by offering women and girls the information and
emotional support they need to help them to decide to continue their pregnancies.
Education and friendship is also offered to anyone who is at risk for a crisis pregnancy.
These services are offered without cost or judgment. It is also the organization's purpose
to encourage the community at large to offer a more supportive and understanding attitude
toward women in crisis pregnancies, by education on both the value of life and the
detrimental effects of abortion.
Additional Information
"Birthright" is a pregnancy help center, helping women to find alternatives to
abortion. In addition to a free pregnancy test, "Birthright" provides someone to
talk to (in complete confidentiality) about the difficult decision of how to handle an
unplanned pregnancy, whether they are considering abortion, adoption, or parenting.
Trained volunteers offer information about fetal development, abortion risks and possible
consequences, and help with alternatives such as maternity homes, school programs and
adoption. There is no fee for any service.
