Mission Statement
THE Voice for Mental Health in Fort Bend County. The Mental Health Association is a
not-for-profit community service organization dedicated to the promotion of mental health
for all people in the Fort Bend Community through advocacy, education and collaboration.
Additional Information
This organization is an affiliate of the National Mental Health Association and the Mental
Health Association in Texas. Without full time staff and minimal funding this association
of concerned citizens have responded to community crisis needs, provided educational
seminars in schools, the courts, various agencies and to individuals. A monthly project is
screening individuals for depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
