Mission Statement
The mission of The George Family Development Center is to nurture the development of the
young child, to give a head start in life and to support families as they support their
children.
Additional Information
The George Family Development Center is a partnership of The George Foundation, William
Smith Sr. Tri-County Child Development Center, Inc.-Head Start, and the Fort Bend Family
Health Center. The George Foundation funded construction of the facility, the Fort Bend
Family Health Center is the managing partner, and Head Start is the anchor program in the
