Do you have questions about breastfeeding? You are not alone! If questions come up during your pregnancy or after your baby is born, you are welcome to call a local La Leche League Leader and/or to attend a La Leche League (LLL) of Fort Bend meeting.
Leaders provide free phone helping to moms with breastfeeding questions and also host two free meetings each month that are open to any interested women (babies welcome as well!). La Leche League is a non-sectarian, non-profit volunteer organization offering mother-to-mother support, encouragement, and information to women who want to breastfeed their babies.
LLL of Fort Bend’s evening meeting is on the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital. Daytime meeting is on the third Monday of the month at 10:30am at the River Park Club House.
To speak to an accredited La Leche League Leader, call Laura at 281-277-4989 or Melia at 281-344-8585 or visit www.lllhouston.org. For more information about breastfeeding, visit www.lalecheleague.org.
Come to our Family Night and Fundraiser at Skeeter’s Mesquite Grill, 16535 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land, TX, on Tuesday, August 10, from 5-8pm. Be sure to mention La Leche League at the register, as a portion of the proceeds will go to La Leche League of Fort Bend.
