The 10th annual Vintner’s Celebration and Wine Tasting event will take place on Saturday, July 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the original Wessendorff Home on Long Acres in Richmond.
Two marked differences will set this year’s celebration apart from previous Vintner’s events. In addition to the main wine-tasting areas, the 2010 celebration will feature a “beer-tasting” station for those who enjoy the art of beer-making. Also new this year is a change of venue: Guests will get to enjoy the unique setting and historic ambiance of the original Long Acres home of the Wessendorff family.
The Vintner’s Celebration traditionally spotlights six to eight different wines, each paired with a delicious variety of gourmet hors d’oeuvres. The wine selections for this year’s event are generously provided by Jan and Lee Leaman. Host couples are Pam and Bill Zemanek, Patty and Joe Robinson and Pam and Mark Magee. Edward Foteh from Crown Liquor in Sugar Land will be p resent during the event to provide details on each selection.
All proceeds from the Vintner’s Celebration and Wine Tasting benefit the educational and preservation efforts of the Fort Bend County Museum Association. Tickets are $75 per person.
